In this playful yoga class, designed especially for elementary aged-children, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and give children the tools to manage stress in their daily lives. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated throughout the class and we'll end with a short period of relaxation.
A healthy lifestyle knows no age limits. Keep your kids happy, healthy and active with our youth fitness classes, specifically designed for children ages six to 10 years old. Children will get to explore movement, agility, following directions and teamwork while using a variety of the equipment, such as cones, ladders, bands, ropes, boxes and TRX, in a safe, certified instructor led environment.
Please bring water, a mat and towel. We will have complimentary mats, towels and a water refill station in case you forget your own.
